‘Culture Lives In Nature’ – There’s a slight Aboriginal feel to some of these paintings. I don’t know why. I guess I’m just attracted to cultures that have a good mental use of imagination and communication. For me imagination is the stuff that binds us to our reality, a limitless, beautiful and terrifying nothing. Without it we are the products of evolution. With it, and with the benefits of a decent culture, who knows what’s possible?
